The excitement and magic of the Christmas season has always been something that has brought me joy. I've always loved the Christmas season, but there is just something so special about sharing Christmas with your children! Watching my girls get giddy and excited about the season makes me so happy! And if we're being honest, there really is only a short period of time that they truly believe.
Why not make that time as magical as possible?
In this blog post are 10 ways we like to keep the spirit alive in Christmas
Christmas 2015 |
1.) Make a custom video from Santa and add in as many pictures and personal details that you can. The more Santa knows about them the better! We use Portable North Pole to make our Santa videos. We have done this every year for about 3 years now and Zoey LOVES it. Haley is still a bit young to understand as she is only 2.
2.) Let them write a letter to Santa and mail it.
3) Watch the Santa tracker and keep tabs on Santa on Christmas Eve!
4) Bake your own cookies and Leave them out for Santa on Christmas Eve. Let your littles help you bake!
5) Have Santa write a note BACK!
6) Watch Christmas movies. Throughout December! A few of our favorites are Polar Express, The Grinch, Elf, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, and The Santa Clause 1, 2, & 3.
7) Drop a bell in the yard and tell the littles that it must have fallen off Santa's sleigh! How cute!
8) Find the Christmas station on your local radio stations. Set it as a favorite/preset in your car and listen all through December!
9) Go to a Christmas Tree lighting
10) Use different wrapping paper for Santa' Gifts than mom & dad use... Tip: be sure your immediate family doesn't use the same wrapping as Santa does.. catch my drift?
